The third day of the $5,300 Main Event of the Luxon Pay Mediterranean Poker Party has ended after 14 hours of play at the Merit Royal Diamond hotel, on the shores of Northern Cyprus. A day that started with 163 players ended with only 21 players out of a total of 1,032.

This day has been action-packed and three key hands ended up defining the day and setting the stage for the 4th day. One of these hands established the end-of-day chip leader, Hannes Jeschka, a Franco-German with a total of 11 million dollars! He secured a two-pair flop to win a massive hand against a top pair top kicker in the last hand of the night, placing him in the leading position.
