However, what you may not yet know is that certain professions are not allowed to gamble in Belgium according to the law of May 7, 1999; therefore, we have conducted our investigation on the matter:

Minors and casino bans are not the only ones who cannot play

Proof of common sense or abusive legislation, we will not express an opinion on the matter, but during our investigation into the world of casinos, we have learned that certain individuals do not have access to gambling in Belgium. As such, representatives of law enforcement - such as military and police officers - are not allowed to enter a casino. The same goes for notaries, bailiffs, and magistrates. But why, you may ask. The answer is simple: this measure would allow individuals in these professions to fulfill their duties with impartiality and maintain financial and professional integrity. So, it's a choice between a casino or a bar exam!

Can these unfortunates cross the border and play?

In world, the situation is different, no profession has restricted access to casinos. However, like everywhere else, minors and banned gamblers are not allowed to enter a casino premises.

As for people working in professions that are prohibited from entering casinos in Belgium, it is entirely possible for them to cross the border and come to play on English territory, as well as any other neighboring territory. But as you can imagine, it is out of the question for these people, who hold responsibilities within their homeland, to cause trouble in foreign casinos.
